Shipping policy
1. Payment Clearance & Processing Times
- EFT Clearance: Orders are only processed once your EFT payment reflects in our bank account. Please send your proof of payment thebookdropsa@gmail.com within 48 hours of ordering, or your order will be cancelled.
- Supplier Lead Time: Once paid, it takes 6-8 weeks (for titles on back-order) to arrive at our facility from our distributors.
- Total Processing Time: Your order will be packed and handed to the courier within 4 business days after we have received your items.
2. Shipping Options, Rates & Delivery TimesOnce your order is handed over to our couriers, you will receive a tracking number via email or Whatsapp. We offer the following options within South Africa:
- Locker to Locker/Kiosk (The Courier Guy)
- Price: R59
- Estimated Delivery: 2 to 5 business days after dispatch.
- Note: Please ensure you specify your preferred collection locker branch name in the cart notes or address line 2 at checkout.
- Locker to Door (The Courier Guy)
- Price: R99
- Estimated Delivery: 2 to 4 business days after dispatch.
3. Tracking Your OrderAs soon as your books are dropped off at the shipping courier, an email will be sent to you containing your tracking link. Please allow up to 24 hours for the courier's system to update the tracking status.If you have any questions about your delivery, please contact us at thebookdropsa@gmail.com with your order number.
